A BIT OF HISTORICAL FACTS Through the medium of Scott's novels, the violent religious and political conflicts of the country's recent past could be seen as belonging to history—which Scott defined, as the subtitle of Waverley. ONE OF THE GREATEST WORKS OF WALTER SCOTT: Where shall the lover rest Whom the fates sever From the true maiden's breast, Parted for ever?-Where, through groves deep and high, Sounds the fair billow, Where early violets die, Under the willow. MY OPINION ABOUT THE POET I have chosen the biography of Sir Walter Scott because I΄m impressed by his novels. His books make us think about life and human mutual relations .They teach us .I advice you to read his books and I΄m sure you win life than.
