Will you make a virtual journey with me to the cities and
towns of Great Britain? We anticipate unique sights and
wonderful nature, as well as familiarity with traditions of
the local inhabitants of those wonderful places. Well, are
you ready to dive into a new world?
Our journey will start
with a visit to the
beautiful and popular
tourist destination, the
town of Windermere.
Windermere is a small
historic town on the
shores of Lake
Windermere in the
county of Cumbria, in
northern England.

The main attraction of the town
is Lake Windermere, the
largest natural body of water
in England.
Numerous boat trips and yacht
clubs are organized on the
lake. You can water-ski or take
a water bus.
Our next trip will be full of competitive spirit and the crazy
wave of emotion. Everyone is going to sense the atmosphere
of the famous English stadiums and hear the famous singing
of English fans. Time to buy tickets, we go to a football match
in Manchester!
Manchester is home for the football
team Manchester United, which is
considered the most popular in the
world and has millions of fans
But Manchester is famous not only for
football, it is the largest cultural,
industrial, financial, commercial and

The city has many attractions.
Its Cathedral was built in
neo-gothic style by Giles
Gilbert Scott.
Among Scottish cities, Edinburgh is the only one of its kind.
You are going to be impressed with its medieval legends,
bagpipes, food and relaxed atmosphere. In August and
September it hosts the Edinburgh Festival, an unbelievable
in its scope and vividness event.
The Edinburgh Festival is actually a series of events. Festivals
are held by different organizations but perceived by visitors as
one event. The largest are the Edinburgh International Festival
and an arts festival called the Edinburgh Fringe.
The Edinburgh Military Tattoo
is a grand music and theatre
festival. It draws over a
thousand participants from
around the world featuring
military bands, drummers,
pipers, singers, acrobats and
cheerleading squads. During
the presentation of plays,
lively music is performed and
visual installations display
various eras.

you are tired of life

Speaking about the UK we cannot omit London. The city attracts
flocks of tourists. It is the centre of cultural, political and
financial life of the UK. It combines traditional and trendy.
Exploring London can be infinite but we will visit the most
interesting sights.
Tower Bridge is one of the
main symbols of London. It
is located in the heart of
London across the River
Thames near the Tower of
London. Tower Bridge is
associated with Britain even
by people who have never
been there.
Big Ben bell is a nickname of
the famous Great Bell in the
territory of the Palace of
containing the bell was built
by the architect Augustus
Pugin in 1859 and got its
name after Queen Elizabeth II
in 2012.
One of the most picturesque and old traditions of London is
Changing of the Guard. It takes place in front of
Buckingham Palace and lasts about 45 minutes to the
accompaniment of an orchestra. Bright military uniform,
bearskin hats, weapons – all this remains unchanged for
nearly half a century.
It would be impossible to visit all the sites and
landmarks of London on one trip. Coming back
here you will discover something new every time
because cultural riches of London are quite
Buckingham Palace
Trafalgar Square
Our journey comes to an end. In conclusion, I’d like
to say that the UK is a very interesting country.
It takes a lot of time to explore it and immerse in
