2004 Nickel I 7300 51- 028 Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Tetra-Nickel Substituted [Ni4(H2O) 2(AsW9O34)2]10- Polyoxoanion. — The new polyoxotungstate (III) is characterized by IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence, and single crystal XRD. (III) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 2. The structure contains the tetra-nickel substituted polyoxoanion [Ni4(H2O)2(AsW9O34)2]10-, in which the four Ni atoms form a planar regular rhombus. These anions are linked via hydrogen bonds and sodium cations. — (DREWES, D.; LIMANSKI, E. M.; KREBS*, B.; Z. Naturforsch., B: Chem. Sci. 59 (2004) 9, 980-984; Inst. Anorg. Anal. Chem., Westfael.
