2005 Semiconductors D 8000 Electronic Structure and Thermoelectric Properties of the Thioantimonate FePb4Sb6S14. — The title compound is synthesized by annealing stoichiometric mix22- 012 tures of the elements at 600 °C and characterized by LMTO band structure calculations and electrical conductivity measurements. The compound is a semiconductor and exhibits high thermopower, however, the low electrical conductivity inhibits its use in thermoelectric applications. Chemical doping with Co and Sn enhances the electrical conductivity to some extent. — (DERAKHSHAN, S.; ASSOUD, A.; SOHEILNIA, N.; KLEINKE*, H.; J. Alloys Compd. 390 (2005) 1-2, 51-54; Dep.
