1. Overview
This guides (Ref No. NTDOCSD990804-1) gives you a sample program for setting internal ISDN (How to use ISDN equipment (E.g. Modem, Tel) with our PBX (Internal ISDN bus)).

3. Overview of TD290/TD286/280
1) Port / Channel
We have three different ISDN optional units as is follows,
TD290 has 1 ISDN PRI port. That is, the system can have 30 channels of ISDN
TD286 has 6 ISDN BRI ports. That is, the system can have 12 channels of ISDN.
TD280 has 2 ISDN BRI ports. That is, the system can have 4 channels of ISDN.
2) Outside CO line / Internal ISDN line
TD286/280, those ISDN ports can be selected either CO line or internal ISDN line.
TD290 this port can be used only CO line. (not for internal ISDN line)
3) ISDN equipment on internal ISDN line.
The ISDN equipment (e.g. ISDN telephone) which needs power supply from ISDN bus can not be connected to the internal ISDN line from TD286/280.
In above case, please use ISDN power supply adapter.

4) Terminal Resistor
It should be placed at the terminal point of the ISDN line or should be placed on the farthest equipment from TD286/280. 4. Connection Cable
First, you have to make a cable to connect between ISDN line jack and TD286/280.
Because TD286/280 uses DDK plug (Figure 3-1) connector, and CO line jack uses RJ45 plug (Figure 3-2), you have to make a cable with DDK plug at one side and RJ45 plug at another side. Figure 3-3 shows how to connect wire between DDK plug and RJ45 plug. The numbers are corresponding to the numbers of figure 3-1 and figure 3-2.
You have to use a terminating tool to connect wire with RJ45 plug as analog modular plug.
To connect between extension port of TD286/280 and ISDN extension equipment, you have to make a cable shown in Figure 3-4. Figure 3-3 (CO Line cable)

If you use ISDN voice equipment (not data equipment), [430] must be set "enable", so that the user can hear dial tone, busy tone, and so on.

When you assign the call destination "0" by [151][152][448][449], the incoming call is transferred to the destination assigned by the system additional Information, Fields (31), (32).
When you assign the call destination "Disable" by [151][152][448][449], the incoming call is transferred to the destination assigned by DIL 1:1[407][408] or DIL 1:N [603][604]. (If DIL 1:1 is not assigned.)
