DESCRIPTION JP2002262386
[0001]
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a speaker frame. More particularly, the
present invention relates to a speaker frame that can be combined with magnetic circuit plates
having different dowel pitches.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a mounting portion
of a frame and a magnetic circuit in a conventional speaker, and FIG. 4 is a schematic plan view
of a frame used for such a speaker. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the magnetic circuit 105 includes
a plate 101 having a center pole 102, a ring-shaped magnet 103, and a ring-shaped top plate
104. On the top surface of the top plate 104, a plurality of dowels 106 are formed. In the frame
109, mounting holes 107 are formed in the joint surface 108 with the magnetic circuit 105 in
correspondence with the positions of the dowels 106. The magnetic circuit 105 and the frame
109 are attached by inserting the dowel 106 into the attachment hole 107 and caulking.
[0003]
However, in such a speaker frame, mounting holes must be formed according to the dowel pitch
of the plate because it can not be attached to the plate having different dowel pitches. That is,
when the dowel pitches of the magnetic circuits (plates) are different, the frame can not be

shared, and it is extremely uneconomical to have to make a die corresponding to each plate.
Furthermore, due to the inability to share frames, the constraints on speaker design are very
large.
[0004]
Thus, there is a strong desire for a speaker frame that can be coupled to magnetic circuit plates
having different dowel pitches.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the abovedescribed conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide a speaker frame that can be
combined with magnetic circuit plates having different dowel pitches. It is to do.
[0006]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The speaker frame of the present invention has at least one
crimping slit extending radially from the center of the coupling surface with the magnetic circuit.
[0007]
In a preferred embodiment, 3 to 12 of the caulking slits are formed.
[0008]
In a preferred embodiment, the caulking slits are formed at equal angular intervals in a direction
normal to the coupling surface.
Alternatively, the caulking slits are formed so as not to be at equal angular intervals in a direction
normal to the coupling surface.
[0009]
In another aspect of the present invention, a speaker system is provided.

This speaker system includes the above speaker frame.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT A speaker frame according to a
preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1
and 2. FIG.
FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of an attachment portion of a frame and a magnetic
circuit in a speaker system using a speaker frame according to a preferred embodiment of the
present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic plan view of such a speaker frame.
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 1, the magnetic circuit 5 includes a plate 1 having a center pole 2, a ring-shaped
magnet 3, and a ring-shaped top plate 4.
On the upper surface of the top plate 4, the dowels 6 are formed in several places. The magnetic
circuit 5 and the frame 9 are attached by inserting the dowel 6 into the caulking slit 7 and
caulking.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 2, the frame 9 has at least one crimping slit 7 extending radially from the center
of the coupling surface 8 with the magnetic circuit 5. Any appropriate number of crimping slits 7
may be formed depending on the purpose, but preferably 3 to 12 or more, taking into
consideration the balance between ease of attachment to the magnetic circuit plate having
different dowel pitches and frame strength. Preferably 4 to 8 can be formed. The crimping slits 7
may be formed at equal angular intervals as viewed in the normal direction of the coupling
surface 8 or may be formed not at equal intervals. For example, in the case of forming eight slits,
the two adjacent slits and the center point of the coupling surface may all be formed to define an
angle of about 45 degrees, as shown in FIG. The two adjacent slits of S and the center point of the
12-04-2019
3
coupling surface define an angle of about 60 degrees, and the other two adjacent slits and the
center point of the coupling surface may be formed so as to define an angle of about 30 degrees
Good. For example, according to the example shown in FIG. 2, it is possible to cope with a
magnetic circuit having four dowels or a magnetic circuit having six dowels. Of course, the slits 7
may be formed to have other arrangements. From the viewpoint of ease of attachment to
magnetic circuit plates having different dowel pitches, it is preferable that they be formed not at
equal intervals.
[0013]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the slit 7 may be formed continuously from the central hole 10 of the
coupling surface 8 or may be formed separately from the central hole 10. The radial length L of
the slit may be appropriately set in consideration of the balance between the ease of attachment
to the magnetic circuit plate and the frame strength. The ratio L / R of the length L of the slit to
the radius R of the coupling surface may also be appropriately set according to the purpose and
application.
[0014]
If necessary, a reinforcing rib may be formed on the periphery of the slit 7. The shape, size,
formation position, and the like of the ribs may be appropriately changed according to the
purpose. By forming the ribs, the design margin of the slit length L is increased, and as a result,
the design freedom of the speaker unit and the speaker system is increased.
[0015]
The speaker frame of the present invention can be applied to a general speaker unit in general,
and thus to a speaker system in general using a normal speaker unit.
[0016]
As described above, according to the present invention, by providing at least one crimping slit
extending radially from the central portion of the coupling surface with the magnetic circuit, it is
possible to couple with the magnetic circuit plate having different dowel pitches. Speaker frame
can be provided.
